The design feedback workspace that turns client comments into trackable work — so nothing gets lost between "can you make it pop?" and the final invoice.
A walkthrough of how CraftTime works end-to-end
CraftTime is already a working product — not just a concept. Don't just watch the video, try the interactive demo right now.
Try the Live DemoCraftTime is one workspace that handles the entire lifecycle of a design project — from the first wireframe to the final invoice. You pin feedback right on the design, track billable hours without thinking about it, turn those pins into tasks on a Kanban board, keep version history so nothing's ever lost, leave structured handoff notes for developers, and pull billing-ready reports at month-end. Instead of bouncing between Figma, Trello, Toggl, email, and a Google Doc for handoff, your team just… stays in one place. That's the whole idea.
After years of watching design feedback get buried in Slack threads, watching billable hours go untracked, and watching developers chase designers for specs — we built the tool we wished existed. The breaking point was a project where a client's feedback lived across 14 emails, 3 Slack channels, and a sticky note. Three revision rounds were missed, and 12 hours of work went unbilled. CraftTime exists so that never happens again.
Small design teams who lose hours to admin work instead of designing. Design agencies that need to track time across clients and invoice with confidence. In-house design teams where PMs and designers need a shared language for feedback. Businesses that need custom contracts, SSO, and dedicated support for their growing design teams. And developers who are tired of guessing what a designer actually meant.
CraftTime is already a working product — not just a concept. The core features (pin feedback, time tracking, Kanban board, version history, handoff notes, reports) are built and being tested with a closed beta group. Stripe payments are live. The Kickstarter campaign funds the final polish, mobile apps, and the infrastructure needed to deliver a smooth 1.0 launch to all backers.
Click anywhere on the design, drop a numbered pin, leave a comment. That's it — no more 'can you make it pop?' emails.
Hours are logged while you work. No timers to remember, no time forgotten at the end of the month.
A Kanban board where every feedback pin becomes a checklist item on its own — no copy-pasting.
Leave fonts, colors, spacing, and asset notes in one place so developers stop guessing what you meant.
See every billable hour, export to CSV or PDF, and invoice clients knowing the numbers add up.
Every feedback pin automatically appears as a checklist item on the task — no copy-pasting comments into a separate list.
From campaign launch to delivery — here's the plan.
Our goal is $40,000 AUD. Here's exactly where it goes — every dollar is tied to delivering CraftTime 1.0 to backers.

Note on infrastructure costs: Server and scaling costs listed above are one-time, project-related expenses required to deliver the 1.0 launch — dedicated capacity setup, load testing, and the first 90 days of post-launch stability. Ongoing hosting after the launch window is covered by subscription revenue, not Kickstarter funds.
Back CraftTime at the level that fits you — every tier includes early access and a voice in the roadmap.

All rewards are delivered as promo codes via the reward claim page after the campaign ends. Subscription renews at standard pricing after the included year — cancel anytime.
We take transparency seriously. Here are the real risks and exactly how we're mitigating each one.
The core feature set — pin-based feedback, time tracking, Kanban board, and design handoff — is already built and in beta. Kickstarter funds go toward polish, mobile, and scaling, not building from scratch. A strict feature freeze is in place 8 weeks before public launch.
A portion of funds is specifically allocated to pre-launch load testing and dedicated server capacity for the first 90 days. We'll run stress tests with the beta group to identify bottlenecks before public release.
The web app is the priority and is already functional. Mobile (iOS/Android) is a post-launch milestone (Q2 2027), not a launch-day deliverable. Backers get full access via responsive web from day one — the native apps are a bonus, not a dependency.
The Stripe integration is already live and tested in production with real transactions. No new payment infrastructure needs to be built — backer reward codes are generated automatically via the existing system.
The project is led by one person, but the architecture is designed for a small team to join post-funding. Budget includes contracting a part-time developer for Q4 2026. All critical systems are documented to ensure continuity.

I've spent over a decade working across design and development — first managing design work for multiple clients, then building products for startups. The friction between design feedback, time tracking, and handoff is a problem I've lived through on every single project.
CraftTime started as a personal tool to stop losing billable hours and revision notes. When other designers saw it and asked to use it, I knew it wasn't just my problem — it was an industry-wide one. This Kickstarter is about turning a tool that works for one person into one that works for every design team.
I'm building this solo, but the architecture is designed for a small team to join post-funding. Transparency is core to how I work — backers get weekly updates, honest timelines, and direct access to ask anything. If something goes wrong, you'll hear about it first, not last.
The campaign goes live in September 2026. If you've ever lost feedback in an email thread or forgotten to invoice a client for three hours of work, you know why this matters. Share it with anyone who'd get it.
